Camping in Algonquin?

My pregnant wife and I go camping in Algonquin Canada in about a month. We are excited and this is my first time. Im say that we have a 3 hour canoe and a walk of 1 hour to get to our camp. Could any of you please detail on some of the things necessary to bear with us. Is in early August. We have a good shop, decent sleeping bags, Kelty bag 5000 that would even the kitchen sink (and I can get done) and a few essential camping and off. Also, what kind of things should we consider in Algonquin, what are some attractions that we should see? Thanks in advance for your answers.

OMG I'm so jealous of you. I love the Algonquin Park. Anyway, you should also consider getting bags waterproof. like this (it's sorta shaped drum) http://www.myshoplive.com/electrical-equipment-1.htm There are really good to keep food only if rain, so no animals make their way into your food. Also, waterproof matches are the key! and you also want to bring a kind of thick chain (such as yellow rope that is fairly cheap) to make your own line of clothes to dry your stuff if it gets wet. It will be well worth the effort, and he sounds very keen for as long as you're done! I suggest that after the adventure around in his canoe camping see what's around your area.
