im going backpacking in Colorado, camping, hiking 14ers for a week, every time I left I used freeze-dried backpacker home food like mountains, but think about it, three meals a day for seven days and meals are priced at around 7 or $ 8 gets a bit expensive, no doubt I'll bring a couple buat I wondered if there was any other easy to make meals, I've already thought of mac n cheese, and rice, I was wondering if you had things easy along those lines I'm not thinking. Yes, there are a lot of backpackers avoid expensive meals we lyophilized and trusts only raw foods, fresh foods and dry foods. In fact I've never bought or eaten a store bought freeze-dried food in my life.
